Where do the flowers come from?

Some are locally grown and what is in season right here in NC! The rest are from all over the world and we buy wholesale to keep cost down.

When does my bucket get delivered?

Thursday evening (the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month usually) so you can enjoy your flowers through the weekend AND the following week.

Can a choose what comes in my bucket?

Nope. At least not for now. Everyone gets the same thing. We know you will love them and if you don't we promise to make it up to you.

How do I subscribe?

Decide which subscription is best for you and go from there!  Click, order, fill out the form emailed to you and wait for your first delivery! The first "round" of subscriptions will begin September 14th.

Are you still teaching Kindergarten?

About 12 people have asked me this today and the answer is YES, OF COURSE! If you know me, you know I love my little people more than anything but I have also always dreamed of owning a small business.  Being that it is summertime, I thought, why not now? It scary and fun and confusing all put together and I could not be more thankful for the help, advice and kind words from all of you as we start this little journey together.

Where do you deliver?

Right now, Raleigh area codes only.  We hope to expand soon and will let you know as soon as we do.

Do I need to be home when my blooms get delivered?

Nope!  We will drop them on your doorstep (or somewhere safe that you specify) and you will come home to happiness.  You don't want them to be sitting outside in the hot/cold/rain/whatever else NC weather might bring for too long so we like to make arrangements to leave them someplace covered whenever possible.  They will be delivered on Thursday evenings/night.

What is this flower? How do I care for my blooms?

Great news! We will send you an email on delivery day all about the flowers in your bucket, how to care for them, where they came from and even ideas about how to arrange them.

How long will my blooms last?

I wish there was a good answer to this question.  Every flower is SO different that is is just impossible to tell.  I have had dahlias that have lived 4 days in a vase and my fuji mums are currently going strong on week 3.  We will give you tips on how to make each of your flowers live its best life.  Southern Living can give you all sorts of tips on improving vase life but what I have learned is...everyone has a different opinion.  The best 2 tricks I know...

1. Fresh cut your flowers (on a diagonal) so they can drink water.

2. Put them in clean water in a clean container of your choosing.  Change the water often.

We buy local flowers whenever we can so they will last longer!

Can I give PBB as a gift?

Yes!  What a great present for someone who loves arranging flowers, loves entertaining or could just use a little extra happiness every 2 weeks!  We have gift subscription options where you can pay in full so the person you are giving the gift to, does not have to manage their subscription in any way.

How do I arrange these?

It is up to you!  You might want to scoop them up, give them a quick cut and drop them in your favorite vase or you might want to make a few smaller arrangements and let them live throughout your house.  The choice is yours!  Stay tuned for some pop-up workshops with some flower arranging experts in our future.
